Until now, you've just been able to get what we call "canned Loops" for items on eBay. Now, you can search for whatever you love on eBay and watch those items in a Loop. Whenever new auction items are added to eBay, you'll see them in your Loop. Here's how.

Are you an eBay Seller? Get a Free Looplet on your Site! 2. Click search. All the items in your store will appear in a Loop on this Live Listings page. 3. Click on "Open in FilmLoop". This will open your store Loop in FilmLoop on your desktop. (The FilmLoop Player will download first, if needed.) 4. Then, share your Loop! Click "share" in the FilmLoop Player to send your Loop to other people by email. (Read about how to do this.) 5. If you want to put a link to your Loop on your eBay store, right-click on your Loop and choose Web/Blog/IM Link to make a moving "Looplet" of your store that you can put on your store web page. 6. Choose "Generic Site/No Javascript Allowed" from the Site/Host Destination menu. 7. Choose Flash Looplet Loop link style menu. 8. Choose a size for your Looplet. The one below is 150 pixels high, by 350 pixels wide. It has a speed of "1". 9. Press the "click to copy" button. This will put the "code" needed to generate a Looplet (see example below) onto the Clipboard. 10. Then, get to a place where you can paste custom HTML in your eBay store, and paste the code. The Looplet will appear on your page. Anyone who clicks on the Looplet will automatically get your Loop, and they'll get FilmLoop for free automatically. (Read about how to do this.) Here's a Flash Loop from one of our favorite eBay Power Sellers, "stephintexas." It shows the latest additions to that eBay store. Click on the Looplet to see the full range. As new items come up for sale, they are added to the Loop automatically. You don't need to keep it updated yourself. FilmLoop takes care of checking in with eBay to see if there are new items in the store. If you add items to your store, they'll automatically appear in the Loop. | |
